Post Merry Christmas!

So it is coming to the end of yet another year. A few days ago it was also Christmas Day. I honestly don't remember doing much festive-related stuff, other than constantly napping during the day, while visiting relatives.

Can't blame me though. I had been working 12 hours everyday for 3 weeks (incl. weekends) in camp. =_=
Even when I was supposed to be on leave since the 24th Dec till 2nd Jan, I was still slogging away in camp. The idea of having logistic audit smack right at the beginning of new year is really lame. Oh well, so much for burning through my long holidays. XP

And just when I have some free time at home, I go rushing through my new addiction: Persona 4 - so much that I completely neglected everything else. Anime, drawing, socializing... ya name it. Until my dad finally moved me away from the TV, that I can get myself to type this post. Heh.

The best thing that happened to me today was the fact that my aunt & her family recently came back from their Japan trip. And they got me what I had requested; the relatively rare Genesis & Rebirth album, by DaisyxDaisy.

(above) scanned, not camera-taken, by a lazy me =D

DaisyxDaisy's lead vocalist is actually Mizuki Nana's younger sister, which piqued enough interest for me to purchase the album. I was pretty sure my aunt won't be able to find it, but she happily proved me wrong, and even went so far to get me the limited edition ver. of Chihara Minori's latest album; Parade! And I got them both for FREE, in the notion as Christmas presents. Really generous of them, since the two combined is like S$75 in total.

Well, not much time left before going back to camp again, so I shall leave the cd-appreciating to another day (like New Year). Ta~ta~

Typing from camp II

The direct sequel to last week's episode!

So I am still in camp, away from home for almost one week. Not that it is a totally bad thing; like hey, the meals during weekend are actually better than usual, and I still got that free internet for me to surf.
Alright, to be honest, I have enough of this mock chalet, and fortunately this is the last of my current extras. At least until the unit serve me the remaining rumored five more to work on.

Well.... nothing interesting to blog down for now. Just that I happen to miss EOY 2008 because of today's duty. Been playing my ds (too many new games), and working on the skeleton of my comic iteMeister.

.....It's 0545 in the morning. I guess I will just go back to sleep, or something.

*Latest update*
Looks like I am doing duty today as well. The fellow who was supposed to take over from me is away overseas, and no one else is available to substitute him. So I volunteered. Oh well~
This makes it feel like I am on an one week confinement. =P

Typing from camp!

I have a feeling I suck with computers, or any tech gadgets along that line.

I am typing from camp while I am on duty. But it is not like I can blog at home now, because my laptop has just broken down as well. Haiz!

I have no idea how the problem came about, and after wasting few hours of my precious time at home last night (the only night for the whole week I could come back), I finally gave in and surrendered the laptop to my neighbor who is a tech expert. Hopes he can fix it before I come back on Monday for the holiday.

Back to the actual topic about being in camp; honestly speaking, doing duties on weekends, or holidays can actually be a rather relaxing experience. Most of the big-shots and pretty much everyone else won't be around to boss you, and there's a decent internet connection + tv for entertainment. Bed w/ aircon to sleep anytime, and free meals. And for the better-prepared people, they can play their psp/ds/etc. as they like.
Basically you can make it feel like a chalet. ^^;

On a related note, I found out I got 5 days worth of leave + 2 offs. Need to clear them before the year end. I am thinking of burning the leave around Christmas period, and spend some time playing Persona 4 + Ar Tonelico 2. Not a bad idea.

Five minutes ago, I just fixed a few glitches on my new webcomic site: IteMeister. The url is here. Nothing much to see now, but please bookmark it and visit it in the near future when the major updates come rolling in.
